Role description
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Engage with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document business requirements.
β’ Facilitate workshops, interviews, and other requirement-gathering activities.
β’ Produce high-quality artefacts including business cases, process maps, user stories, and functional specifications.
β’ Work closely with delivery teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly.
β’ Support UAT planning and execution.
β’ Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies related to business analysis activities.
β’ Ensure alignment with programme goals and compliance with security and governance standards.
Essential Skills & Experience:
β’ Active SC Clearance (must be currently valid and transferable).
β’ Proven experience as a Business Analyst in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
β’ Strong understanding of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
β’ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
β’ Experience working on government, defence, or regulated sector projects.
β’ Ability to produce clear and concise documentation.
β’ Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, and MS Office Suite.
Desirable:
β’ Experience with GDS (Government Digital Service) standards.
β’ Exposure to data-driven projects or digital transformation programmes.
β’ Knowledge of enterprise architecture principles.
β’ BCS or IIBA certification.
