Role description
Key Responsibilities: β€’ Engage with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document business requirements. β€’ Facilitate workshops, interviews, and other requirement-gathering activities. β€’ Produce high-quality artefacts including business cases, process maps, user stories, and functional specifications. β€’ Work closely with delivery teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly. β€’ Support UAT planning and execution. β€’ Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies related to business analysis activities. β€’ Ensure alignment with programme goals and compliance with security and governance standards. Essential Skills & Experience: β€’ Active SC Clearance (must be currently valid and transferable). β€’ Proven experience as a Business Analyst in complex, multi-stakeholder environments. β€’ Strong understanding of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. β€’ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. β€’ Experience working on government, defence, or regulated sector projects. β€’ Ability to produce clear and concise documentation. β€’ Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, and MS Office Suite. Desirable: β€’ Experience with GDS (Government Digital Service) standards. β€’ Exposure to data-driven projects or digital transformation programmes. β€’ Knowledge of enterprise architecture principles. β€’ BCS or IIBA certification.
