Role description
We're seeking an experienced Data Analyst to support a short, agile engagement focused on cyber data readiness, high-value use cases, and proof-of-concept insights to inform investment and MVP decisions.
You'll work hands-on with priority cyber datasets (or suitable substitutes where access is constrained) to produce decision-ready analysis and visualisations that clearly communicate value, confidence, and limitations.
Rate: Up to £500 / day Outside IR35
Location: Remote
Clearance: Active SC Clearance (essential)
Contract: 3 months (+ extensions)
What you'll do
• Explore and profile priority datasets, identifying quality issues, gaps, and join limitations
• Build PoC dashboards and visualisations aligned to key decision questions
• Create clear insight narratives explaining what the data shows, why it matters, and any caveats
• Apply confidence or reliability indicators to highlight data limitations
• Document assumptions, data constraints, and remediation opportunities
• Work closely with the Data Architect and cyber SMEs to ensure insights are credible and meaningful
• Contribute analytics user stories, dependencies, and increments to the MVP backlog
What you'll bring
• Strong experience in data analysis and insight development
• Confidence working with incomplete, messy, or constrained datasets
• Excellent data visualisation and storytelling skills
• Ability to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Structured approach to documentation and assumptions
• Exposure to mixed cloud/platform environments (e.g. Microsoft and Google)
With a 1-stage interview process, the client are looking to get someone started next Monday (26th) so please don't hesitate to apply now!
