Role: Scala Developer Location: 100% Onsite. Greenwood Village, CO (LOCALS ONLY) Experience: 10+ Years Looking for Scala Developers with strong Java/ Spring boot/ microservice/ AWS experience skillset. Summary: The ideal candidate will be adept at working with complex systems, monitoring and diagnosing issues quickly, and have backend development experience using Scala, Java, or TypeScript. Responsibilities: • Develop and implement software solutions to improve system reliability and performance. • Monitor systems, identify issues, and swiftly implement fixes to ensure optimal operation. • Collaborate with development and operations teams to design scalable and highly available systems. • Automate repetitive tasks to streamline processes and reduce human error. • Implement and maintain monitoring tools to provide insights into system performance and potential issues. • Perform root cause analysis of system failures and apply preventative measures to avoid recurrence. • Contribute to codebase using Scala, Java, or TypeScript for backend development. • Participate in on-call rotations and respond to system alerts promptly. Qualifications: • Microservices Implementation experience • Proven experience in software engineering and system operations. • Proficiency in Scala, Java, or TypeScript for backend development. • Experience with monitoring tools and techniques. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and address complex system issues. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure. • Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
