Scala Developer

Job Title: Scala Developer Location: Jersey City or Chicago (Hybrid) Duration: 12 months (possible extension & conversion) Pay Range: $70 - $90 an Hour Required Experience: • Strong Scala development skills. • Alternatively, strong OOP knowledge with Java + one other language. Preferred Skills: • Post Trade PLASMA framework. • GMT XA Framework. • Securities clearing domain knowledge. Responsibilities: • Develop and deliver complex software to meet business, compliance, and functional needs. • Write, test, and integrate scalable, reliable code. • Participate in story refinement, estimation, and CI/CD processes. • Contribute to and analyze test suites (integration, regression, performance) • Individual contributor, collaborating with cross-functional teams. • Familiarity with bank development/testing practices.
