Role description
About the Role We’re seeking an experienced SCCM Engineer to support and enhance enterprise endpoint management and data analysis initiatives. You’ll play a key role in maintaining and optimizing Microsoft SCCM and Intune environments, ensuring reliable software deployment, patching, compliance, and asset visibility across a large-scale infrastructure. Contract Duration: 6–12 months Location: Remote (USA-based candidates only) Daily rate: $500 The ideal candidate will combine technical depth in endpoint management with strong data mining and reporting capabilities, helping to drive actionable insights from system and device data. Key Responsibilities • Design, implement, and maintain Microsoft SCCM and Intune environments to support patching, software deployment, and device compliance. • Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for SCCM and Intune client issues. • Develop and automate reporting and data analysis solutions to monitor endpoint health, compliance, and performance. • Execute data mining and scripting (PowerShell, SQL) to extract insights from SCCM and Intune datasets. • Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and operations teams to align endpoint management with organizational policies. • Support configuration baselines, OS deployments, and Windows autopilot setup and integration. • Document procedures, configurations, and technical standards. Required Skills & Experience • 5+ years’ experience in SCCM (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager) administration and engineering. • 3+ years’ experience with Microsoft Intune (MDM/MAM). • Strong PowerShell scripting and SQL query skills for data extraction and automation. • Experience with reporting tools (SSRS, Power BI, or similar) for visualization of SCCM/Intune data. • Proven ability to analyze, interpret, and present large datasets to technical and business stakeholders. • Strong troubleshooting and documentation abilities. • Must be US-based and authorized to work in the United States. Nice to Have • Experience with Azure AD, Windows Autopilot, or Co-management (SCCM + Intune). • Background in data analytics or endpoint telemetry. • Knowledge of security compliance frameworks (CIS, NIST, etc.).
