Job#: 3037713 Job Description: Location: South San Francisco, California (Partial Remote) Role Overview A specialized team requires a Scientific Business Analyst to support the update of critical small-molecule drug discovery infrastructure. The primary goal is to migrate downstream applications, vendor tools, and data pipelines from a legacy system to a new enterprise registration platform. This role is central to ensuring minimal disruption to laboratory operations and chemistry workflows during the transition. Key Responsibilities • Perform requirements gathering and provide problem understanding to support the migration and refactoring of laboratory systems and scripts to the new registration platform's API. • Facilitate communication with and coordinate assistance for internal stakeholders regarding transition timelines, technical requirements, and process changes. • Author and update user-facing documentation and internal engineering runbooks. • Conduct platform training for end-users of migrated applications. • Support post-cutover stabilization, system validation, and legacy system decommissioning. Required Qualifications • Scientific domain expertise in small molecule drug discovery, with familiarity in analytical/medicinal chemistry and biochemical/cellular/DMPK assay workflows. • Proven ability to guide stakeholders through complex system transitions. • Verbal communication and technical writing skills for both engineering and end-user documentation.
