Role description
β’ Develop and optimize image analysis pipelines for 2D and 3D biomedical images.
β’ Perform quantitative analysis of histology, IHC, IF, and multiplex imaging data.
β’ Apply classical image processing and machine learning methods for feature extraction, segmentation, and classification. Including integration of multiple image analysis platforms (e.g., HALO, Visiopharm, QuPath).
β’ Collaborate with pathologists, biologists, and data scientists to define analytical endpoints.
β’ Validate image derived biomarkers and ensure analytical rigor.
β’ Document workflows and ensure reproducibility of analyses.
β’ Support interpretation and visualization of image based data for scientific reports.
β’ Help cross lab collaboration through image and algorithm transfer.
β’ Proficient in scientific programming languages (R, Python) and have experience applying machine learning techniques, preferably in pathology images (H&E/IHC/mIF).
β’ Extensive experience applying machine learning techniques.
β’ Experience in cell image analysis and marker quantification from multiplex IHC for digital pathology.
β’ Experience with some of these image analysis tools (e.g., HALO AI, Visiopharm, QuPath, CellProfiler).
β’ Strong problem-solving and independent thinking skills.
β’ Experience in tumor immunology and histopathology is a plus.
β’ Previous experience in industry and biotech is desired.
Bachelorβs Degree from an accredited institution with three-plus (3+) years of experience in related scientific discipline or Masterβs Degree from an accredited institution in related scientific discipline or equivalent experience in related field.
