Job Description:
β’ Analyze and interpret vulnerability scan results.
β’ Fix vulnerabilities reported by security tools and teams across infrastructure and applications.
β’ Deploy patches on Windows and Unix/Linux servers in coordination with system administrators.
β’ Collaborate closely with application owners to track, manage, and ensure timely closure of remediation tasks.
β’ Maintain ongoing communication with stakeholders to provide updates on remediation status and timelines.
β’ Track remediation progress and provide regular reports to leadership and compliance teams.
β’ Participate in root cause analysis for recurring vulnerabilities or SLA breaches.
β’ Ensure remediation aligns with internal policies, standards, and industry best practices.
β’ Support regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC2, PCI-DSS) through effective vulnerability management.
β’ Automate remediation tracking and reporting using scripting or commercial tools.
β’ Work across Windows and Unix server environments; strong hands-on experience required.
β’ Collaborate with the Security Operations Center (SOC) and other security teams as needed.
β’ Maintain thorough documentation of vulnerabilities, actions taken, and closure status.
