Vacancy: Senior AI Engineer Location: Netherlands Duration: 1 Year Rate of Pay: €376 - €760/Day DOE Our client is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join their cloud innovation team in the BNN region. You'll play a key role in integrating AI-native functionality into our Azure-based cloud portfolio, working with tools like Azure AI Foundry, OpenAI, and DevOps automation. After 1 year, you will have the option to join the company full time. Applications are welcome from candidates in the UK who are eligible to work and can provide the necessary documentation Responsibilities for the Senior AI Engineer role include: • Design and build agentic AI prototypes with Azure AI Foundry and OpenAI • Develop natural language interfaces for requesting, validating, and provisioning Azure resources (e.g., via GitOps) • Contribute to AI-driven automation of CloudOps processes • Support demos and reusable tools for AI-driven operations • Integrate AI solutions into sovereign cloud scenarios (e.g., agents with data compliance) • Build on and expand existing automation and platform solutions Candidates applying for the Senior AI Engineer role will need: • Proven experience with Azure OpenAI, AI Foundry, or comparable AI integrations • Proficient in Python, Go, PowerShell, or TypeScript for scripting and backend logic • DevOps mindset with knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (Bicep), CI/CD, and tools such as GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps • Ability to evolve prototypes into production-ready tools Nice to have for the Senior AI Engineer role include • Experience with GitOps tools such as FluxCD, and integrating AI into GitOps workflows • Knowledge of handling compliance-sensitive data in AI contexts • Experience with prompt engineering or frameworks like LangChain, Semantic Kernel • Experience with or contributions to a developer portal such as Backstage For more information or to apply for the Senior AI Engineer role, contact
