Senior AI / ML Engineer

Job Title: Senior AI / ML Engineer Experience: 15+ Years Location: Woodland Hills, CA Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days mandatory onsite per week Local Requirement: Must be local to Los Angeles / commutable distance Job Summary: We are looking for a highly experienced AI / ML Engineer with strong healthcare domain expertise to design, build, and deploy advanced machine learning solutions. This role requires hands-on technical leadership and close collaboration with cross-functional teams, with mandatory onsite presence 3 days per week at our Woodland Hills, CA location. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement scalable AI/ML models for healthcare use cases. Lead end-to-end machine learning lifecycle including data preparation, feature engineering, model development, validation, deployment, and monitoring. Collaborate with product, clinical, data, and engineering teams to translate healthcare requirements into technical solutions. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and data privacy standards (HIPAA, PHI).Optimize model performance, scalability, and reliability in production environments. Guide best practices for ML architecture, tooling, and MLOps. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers. Communicate complex AI/ML concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Required Qualifications:15+ years of overall experience in AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, or Software Engineering. Strong healthcare domain experience (mandatory).Hands-on experience with ML frameworks and tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn. Proficiency in Python and experience working with large datasets. Experience deploying ML models into production environments. Solid understanding of statistics, machine learning algorithms, and model evaluation. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).Ability to work onsite 3 days per week in Woodland Hills, CA. Must be local to Los Angeles or within commutable distance (no relocation). Preferred Qualifications: Experience with MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, and model monitoring .Exposure to NLP, computer vision, or generative AI in healthcare. Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, AI, ML, Data Science, or related field. Experience working in regulated enterprise environments.
