Role description
Our global banking client is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer to join their team. As a Senior AI/ML Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering department supporting various complex initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Senior AI/ML Engineer Location: Charlotte, NC - hybrid Pay Range: Competitive (due to client rules, we are unable to work with 3rd party subcontractors, all candidates must be able to work on Experis' W2. We are also unable to do any kind of referral to subcontracting companies). What's the Job? • Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. • Review and analyze complex multi-faceted Software Engineering challenges requiring in-depth evaluation. • Contribute to the resolution of situations requiring a solid understanding of function, policies, and compliance requirements. • Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel to achieve project deliverables. • Optimize and deploy AI models on GPU clusters for large-scale deep learning applications. What's Needed? • 5+ years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting, training, or education. • Experience with API development, cloud-native architectures, and Generative AI frameworks like LLaMA and Mistral. • Proficiency in FastAPI, Unicorn, Swagger, Python, Apache Spark (PySpark), Kubernetes, and Django. • Experience in configuring and managing NVIDIA GPU and GCP (TPUs, GPU instances). • Knowledge of multi-GPU training and distributed computing frameworks such as TensorFlow Distributed and PyTorch Distributed.
