Title: Senior Alteryx Consultant Location: 100% Remote – PST Hours (8 AM – 5 PM EST) Job Type: Contract – 6 Months Keynote: Travel is not required, but an initial trip to the Bay Area may be required (Expenses Paid) About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Alteryx Consultant to join our dynamic team at KPI, working on challenging and multi-year data transformation projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented BI engineer to play a key role in building innovative data solutions and related technologies. If you are passionate about working with large-scale data systems and enjoy solving complex engineering problems, this role is for you. Must-Have Skills & Qualifications: 1. Alteryx & Workflow Automation • 5–10 years of experience using Alteryx to build complex, scalable, and dynamic automation workflows sourced from multiple Finance/Accounting reports. • Ability to design workflows that avoid hard-coding, support flexibility, and scale with evolving business needs. • Experience embedding self-audit, reconciliation, and data quality checks within workflows to flag exceptions, gaps, or errors. 1. Process Understanding & Requirements Gathering • Strong ability to capture business requirements, ask the right questions, and deconstruct existing manual Finance/Accounting processes. • Capable of translating ambiguous or incomplete inputs into structured technical requirements. 1. Documentation & Knowledge Transfer • Skilled in creating clear, detailed process documentation, workflow documentation, and step-by-step guides suitable for handoff to internal teams. • Ability to produce data dictionaries capturing definitions, business logic, nuances, and edge cases across a variety of data sets (e.g., FX rates, scenarios, recasts, ARR metrics). 1. Data & Systems Experience • Experience working with common Finance/RevOps data sources and tools, including: • Salesforce • Tableau • Power BI • Oracle • Snowflake 1. Revenue & Contracting Domain Knowledge • Understanding of SaaS contract structures and booking mechanics (e.g., ramp deals, amendments, cancel/replace). • Familiarity with Revenue Recognition principles and ARR lifecycle mechanics (e.g., bridges, ATR, cohort recasts).
