Summary
Montech Inc. is seeking a qualified Senior Analyst, Force Development Fires Division SSO (Staff Synchronization Officer). This is a key personnel position within the Force Development Fires Division (FDG) and the analyst will be responsible for ensuring that Army force development requirements and modernization plans are achievable for Fires efforts, which include Joint Theater Air and Missile Defense (JTAMD), Directed Energy, Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS), Short Range Air Defense (SHORAD), artillery launchers, missiles, and cannons.
Place of Performance
The Senior Analyst, Force Development Fires Division SSO shall perform duties on site at a designated government facility in the National Capital Region (NCR).
Hours of Operation
The Senior Analyst, Force Development Fires Division SSO will have an eight-hour workday totaling a 40-hour week, between the hours of 0700 through 1800, Monday thru Friday except Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government directed facility closures.
Responsibilities
The Senior Analyst, Force Development Fires Division SSO provides the following areas of support:
Reviewing all topic briefings for long-range artillery equities and drafting executive summaries or end-of-week notes as needed.
Responsible for developing and coordinating long-range artillery Facer pages and prep books for G8/FD/DOM in coordination with division leadership.
Work on issues, develop options, information papers (IPs), and briefs, and track to completion long-range artillery AROC/JROC due outs.
Respond to requests for information (RFIs) to address specific questions related to various programs, focusing on program cost, schedule, capabilities, operational impacts, congressional testimony, life cycle support, sustainment, and force development/modernization.
Provide subject matter expertise during Army Program Budget Briefs (APBBs) for assigned programs and assist the Division Chief with developing Australia-UK-US (AUKUS) related IPs and briefings.
Supports Presidential Drawdown IPs, assessments, and options, and attends meetings with G8/FD/DOM/Div Chief to provide subject matter expertise and respond to RFIs for assigned programs.
Support SPAR actions for all assigned programs to address critical capability and capacity gaps beyond the FYDP to enable long-range force development and modernization.
Qualifications
The candidate shall possess a minimum of a Minimum of a Bachelorβs degree in a directly related career field from an accredited college, such as Business or Engineering. Additionally, candidate must have a minimum of four years of experience and expertise in Force Development or related duties. Additional qualifications for the Senior Analyst include:
Must have doctrinal, operational, and technical expertise with Army Air and Missile Defense or Army Fire Support units, programs, concepts of operations (CONOPS), and capabilities.
Must possess the staff skills necessary to conduct reviews and analyses of JCIDS documents related to various oversight councils and boards. Will be responsible for preparing leadership in advance of these venues and providing relevant analysis, including the recommended DCS G-8 position on proposed requirements.
Must understand the processes and procedures of the Defense Acquisition System.
Must possess skills to conduct reviews and analyses of acquisition documents.
Ability to extract and analyze data from various databases and collaborative programs used within the DCS G-8 Army Resource Cloud (ARC).
Should also be familiar with and able to extract relevant information from websites like the Cloud Equipping Program (cQUIP) and the Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program (AESIP).
Must have identified knowledge and skills in addition to those required for the successful performance of specific tasks within the Directorate of Materiel (DOM).
Provide analysis, reviews, and options in support of validation, prioritization, and approval of future warfighter requirements
Support the development of investment and resourcing options for Army and Joint programs.
Planning, programming, and budgeting for programs in accordance with Army decisions and supporting the overall Strategic Portfolio Analysis Review (SPAR) and Program Objective Memorandum (POM) build.
Security
The Senior Analyst, Force Development Fires Division SSO will be a U.S. citizen and have an active Top Secret security clearance.
