Montech Inc. is seeking a qualified Senior Analyst, Soldier Team SSO (Staff Synchronization Officer) which is a key personnel position within the Force Development Soldier and Maneuver Division (FDD). The Senior Analyst, Soldier Team SSO is responsible for managing and coordinating various aspects of soldier equipment and modernization programs.
Place of Performance
The Senior Analyst, Soldier Team SSOshall perform duties on site at a designated government facility in the National Capital Region (NCR).
Hours of Operation
The Senior Analyst, Soldier Team SSO will have an eight-hour workday totaling a 40-hour week, between the hours of 0700 through 1800, Monday thru Friday except Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government directed facility closures.

Responsibilities
The Senior Analyst, Soldier Team SSO provides the following areas of support:
Responsible for writing and briefing information papers on capabilities, funding, operational risk, programming risk, and industrial base impacts, providing analysis for capabilities development for feasibility, affordability, and executability.
Tasked with organizing, coordinating, and synchronizing working groups for capabilities development, including the Council of Colonels, Army Requirements Board (ARB), Army Capabilities Board (ACB), and Army Requirements Oversight Council (AROC).
Provides analysis for Strategic Portfolio Analysis Review (SPAR) and Program Objective Memoranda (POM) for feasibility, affordability, and executability.
Involved in organizing, coordinating, and synchronizing program reviews and portfolio reviews for SPAR and POM development, as well as conducting Line-Item Number (LIN) allocation and distribution for all programs and systems.
Contributes to the development and execution of equipment fielding and distribution plans.
Provides subject matter expertise for various forums and activities, including the Army Regionally Aligned Readiness and Modernization Model (ReARMM) forums, Army Modernization and Equipping Conference (AMEC) forums, Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) development, and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) inquiries.
Assist with the development of Army Acquisition Objectives (AAO) and Army Procurement Objective (APO) adjustments, Department of Defense Instruction (DODI) 1225.06 repayment activities, and Presidential Drawdown activities.
Reviews documents for assigned programs to validate accuracy, identify Force Development Directorate equities, and provide recommendations to division leadership via email or notation in Enterprise Task Management Software 2 (ETMS2).
Qualifications
The candidate shall possess a minimum of a Minimum of a bachelorβs degree in a directly related career field from an accredited college, such as Business or Engineering. Additionally, candidates must have a minimum of four years of experience and expertise in Force Development or related duties. Additional qualifications:
Must have a foundational level of operational, technical, and educational experience and expertise in Combat, Combat Support, Combat Service Support, and combined arms formations, as well as the applicable policies and procedures associated with these tactical formations. The SSO should have expertise with specific programs related to the Force Development Soldier and Maneuver Division (FDD), which can include combat vehicles, ammunition for various calibers, Soldier weapons, individual equipment, sensors, and situational awareness devices
Must possess the staff skills necessary to conduct reviews and analyses of JCIDS documents related to various oversight councils and boards, such as the Joint Requirements Oversight Council (JROC) and the Army Requirements Oversight Council (AROC). The Senior Analyst, Soldier Team SSO is responsible for preparing leadership in advance of these venues and providing relevant analysis, including the recommended DCS G-8 position on proposed requirements.
Must understand the processes and procedures outlined in DOD Instruction 5000.2, which pertains to the operation of the Defense Acquisition System. Must also possess the staff skills needed to conduct reviews and analyses of acquisition documents.
Required to extract and analyze data from various databases and collaborative programs used within the DCS G-8 Army Resource Cloud (ARC). This includes systems like the Army Equipping Enterprise System Modern (AE2S-M) and its key modules. Should also be familiar with and able to extract relevant information from websites like the Cloud Equipping Program (cQUIP) and the Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program (AESIP).
Must have the knowledge and skills identified in the previous sections, in addition to those required for the successful performance of specific tasks within the Directorate of Materiel (DOM). This includes providing analysis, reviews, and options in support of validation, prioritization, and approval of future warfighter requirements, as well as supporting the development of investment and resourcing options for Army and Joint programs.
Responsible for planning, programming, and budgeting for programs in accordance with Army decisions and supporting the overall Strategic Portfolio Analysis Review (SPAR) and Program Objective Memorandum (POM) build.
Security
The Senior Analyst, Soldier Team SSO will be a U.S. citizen and have an active Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
