Job Overview:
We are seeking a Stibo STEP MDM Analyst with hands-on experience in MDM, data governance, and Stibo STEP configuration to support a long-term initiative (12-18 months initially, with additional projects spanning up to 5 years). The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, stakeholder communication skills, and the ability to optimize and troubleshoot complex data environments. This role involves working closely with business users, IT teams, and external data owners to enhance product data quality, build data models, streamline workflows, and support MDM operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with business users and external data owners to enhance product data for better user experience and internal operational efficiency
Collaborate with digital marketing teams to curate customer-facing product taxonomy for eCatalog and eCommerce platforms
Develop and manage internal product data taxonomy, ensuring alignment with business processes and technical specifications
Analyze and maintain product data health metrics, implementing data validation, cleansing, and governance best practices
Support data migration and integration projects, ensuring seamless data flow between Stibo STEP and downstream systems (Workday, ServiceNow, etc.)
Act as a superuser and administrator for the MDM platform, performing bulk data operations using Smartsheets, STEP XML, CSV, and Excel
Configure and optimize Stibo STEP features, including Web UI, workflows, integration endpoints, event processors, and user management roles
Create custom screens, dashboards, and reports to improve visibility into data quality and operational efficiencies
Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, document business needs, and implement process improvements
Train business users on self-service capabilities of the MDM platform, providing ongoing support and troubleshooting
Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint demos, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives
Assist with test planning, UAT sessions, and issue resolution for system upgrades and new feature rollouts
Qualifications & Skills:
3+ years of experience with Stibo STEP
Strong understanding of Master Data Management (MDM), data governance, and data modeling
Experience with data migrations, integrations, and ETL processes
Proficiency in SQL for data retrieval and analysis
Experience configuring Web UI, workflows, event processors, integration endpoints, and data classifications within Stibo STEP
Knowledge of JavaScript and ability to work with UI configurations is a plus
Strong project documentation and process improvement skills
Experience working in an Agile environment (Jira, Confluence)
Ability to read and comprehend technical documentation, translate business needs into technical requirements
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience with ServiceNow, Workday, AWS Cloud Services, or BI tools is a plus
