Title: Senior Analyst Web Analytics Duration: 9 Months Location: 100% remote Marketing & Communication (M&C) Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Marketing Science to join the Marketing & Communication (M&C) team. In this role, you will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to answer critical business questions by analyzing data, uncovering meaningful insights, and enabling data-driven decision-making. You will play a key role in connecting individuals affected by cancer to essential resources and care, directly supporting the organization's mission to End Cancer for Life. This position offers the opportunity to influence strategic marketing decisions through advanced analytics, reporting, and business intelligence leadership. Reporting to the Manager, Marketing Science, you will collaborate closely with Analytics, IT, Marketing teams, and external partners to enhance reporting capabilities, improve data infrastructure, and scale the organization's Business Intelligence ecosystem. Key ResponsibilitiesAnalytics & Insights • Conduct in-depth analyses to answer complex business questions by joining and transforming disparate data sources. • Monitor and report on performance across the Marketing & Communication ecosystem using dashboards, visualizations, presentations, and executive-ready reporting. • Support organization-level and executive-level reporting, particularly regarding Marketing's impact on institutional demand. • Present findings, surface actionable insights, and recommend data-informed improvements. Data Management & Infrastructure • Assist in the creation and ongoing management of structured data tables for downstream applications. • Manage workspaces, data refresh cycles, dataflows, and automation to improve data processing efficiency. • Help improve taxonomy, governance processes, and technical infrastructure supporting analytics across the organization. • Collaborate with Analytics and IT teams to build, optimize, and scale the Business Intelligence ecosystem. Stakeholder Engagement & Enablement • Partner with internal stakeholders and agency/vendor teams to ensure analytical rigor and alignment with marketing objectives. • Champion a hybrid Service/Self-Service analytics model by educating peers and enabling data literacy. • Provide ad hoc analytics support and consultative expertise across Marketing & Communication initiatives. Required Skills & Experience • 3 years of experience in a Marketing Analytics role. • Hands-on experience with web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Heap, or similar tools. • Strong practical understanding of web analytics technologies and tracking frameworks. • Familiarity with Google Tag Manager and foundational web technology concepts. • Solid understanding of relational database concepts, including granularity, keys, joins, and data transformations. • Knowledge of Paid, Earned, and Owned media channels. • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information clearly and persuasively. • Ability to influence stakeholders through presentations and collaborative engagement. • Intrapreneurial mindset focused on continuous improvement. Preferred Skills & Experience • Experience working with marketing data types across web/mobile analytics, advertising platforms (e.g., Google Marketing Platform, Meta, The Trade Desk), and phone tracking solutions (e.g., Invoca). • Proficiency in SQL and experience with downstream data applications (e.g., Business Intelligence tools). • Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Databricks, and/or dbt. • Strong contextual understanding of how data informs business strategy and decision-making.
