Senior Analytics Engineer Spring, TX (100% onsite) Locals only 1 year contract Rate: $75/Hr on C2C . • Top 3 skill sets/technologies required for qualification: • 1): Proven Advanced SQL skills and proven experience working with large, complex datasets. • 2): Strong Python programming experience for data engineering and analytics applications. • 3): Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking capabilities. 🚀 Hiring: Senior Analytics Engineer We’re looking for a Senior Unconventional Analytics Engineer to build trusted, scalable data products that support forecasting, economics, planning, drilling, completions, and production analytics across an Unconventional organization. This role will work closely with Reservoir Engineers, Production Engineers, Planners, Economists, and Data Professionals to make critical business data reliable, governed, automated, and easy to use. 🔹 Key Responsibilities • Own and develop analytics-ready data products for forecasting, economics, planning, drilling, completions, and production. • Build scalable Databricks data pipelines and transformation processes using SQL and Python. • Integrate operational, corporate, and third-party data into a unified analytical environment. • Design and optimize data models, architectures, ELT/ETL pipelines, and automated workflows. • Support ComboCurve forecasting and economic workflows with consistent, validated, auditable data. • Develop curated datasets for Spotfire dashboards and self-service analytics. • Improve consistency between Spotfire, ComboCurve, Databricks, and enterprise data sources. • Establish data quality standards, validation rules, monitoring, metadata, lineage, documentation, and governance. • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate analytical needs into scalable data solutions. 🔹 Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, or Advanced Analytics. • Advanced SQL and strong Python programming skills. • Hands-on experience with Databricks. • Experience developing and maintaining modern ELT/ETL pipelines. • Strong knowledge of data modeling, data architecture, and data product design. • Experience developing analytics solutions with Spotfire. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to translate business challenges into scalable technical solutions. 🔹 Preferred Qualifications • Oil & Gas / Unconventional Resources experience. • Experience with ComboCurve forecasting and economic evaluation workflows. • Understanding of: • Reservoir Engineering • Asset Planning • Economics & Capital Allocation • Knowledge of Data Governance and Master Data Management. • Experience building enterprise-scale analytical data products. • Exposure to analytics and AI initiatives.
