Role description
Robert Half are supporting a leading organisation on a business-critical data transformation programme, and are seeking a Senior Analytics Modeller to lead the design and delivery of the analytics layer on an initial 9 months contract based out of both Hampshire and London.
This role will focus on transforming raw data into business-ready models and insights, enabling reporting, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making ahead of a key ERP system cutover.
Responsibilities:
• Own the data modelling and analytics layer across the programme
• Design and implement scalable, production-grade data models
• Develop clean, structured datasets to support reporting and operational use
• Work closely with stakeholders to define KPIs, metrics, and business logic
• Model data across key business systems, including:
• CRM platforms
• ERP systems
• Billing / subscription platforms
• Support cutover and hypercare phases from a reporting and data perspective
• Enable downstream use cases, including:
• BI and dashboarding
• Operational data flows / reverse ETL
• Maintain strong data documentation, lineage, and governance standards
Technology Environment
• Modern cloud data warehouse (e.g. BigQuery)
• SQL (core skillset) + Python (desirable)
• Cloud-based data pipelines and ingestion tools
• Data activation / reverse ETL tooling
Requirements:
• Extensive experience (circa 8+ years) in analytics engineering or data modelling roles
• Strong expertise in dimensional modelling (e.g. star schema, data marts)
• Proven track record building business-critical reporting layers
• Experience modelling data across:
• CRM systems
• ERP platforms
• Billing or subscription-based systems
• Experience supporting data migrations, cutovers, or transformation programmes
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into data models
