Job Title: Senior Professional Application Designer
Duration: 3+ months (after that Full Time based on Performance)
Location: Remote working in EST Hours
This will be a contract to hire position, so we are looking to convert them to full-time employees based on their performance
Description:
As a Batch Developer, you will be performing design, development, testing activities. Supporting the full life cycle of development processes for creating services. Investigating and resolve complex business and technical product integration matters of significance. Focusing on a specific product or family of technologies in multiple platforms; functions independently within a business area and assists at the enterprise level to influence the technical decisions during various phases of the project.
Technical Expertise & Essential Job Functions
β’ Working Experience with the following technologies:
β’ C
β’ Unix/Linux Systems.
β’ Oracle SQL, PL/SQL.
β’ Experience in Medicaid Management Information Systems a strong plus
β’ Codes, tests, debugs, implements, and documents programs. Assists in the modification of company products and/or customer/internal systems to meet the needs of the client and/or end-user.
β’ Gathers information from the system, analyses program and time requirements, and prepares documentation to change existing programs.
β’ Research and analyses existing systems and program requirements, under periodic supervision.
β’ Designs programs for projects or enhancements to existing programs.
β’ Writes specifications for programs of low to moderate complexity.
β’ Assists in resolving production support problems. Develops and suggests alternative approaches to resolving problems.
β’ Develops test plans to verify logic of new or modified programs. Identifies issues as appropriate.
β’ Creates appropriate documentation in work assignments such as program code, and technical documentation.
β’ Conducts quality assurance activities such as peer reviews.
β’ Expertise in Batch job automation and notification services.
β’ Complex SQL work experience and query tuning expertise.
β’ Experience working with Member, Managed Care, Provider, Financial, Claims domain is a plus.
β’ 6 to 12 years for Senior Professional with technical product configuration, design, and/or integration
Basic Qualifications:
β’ Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
β’ Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field preferred
β’ Experience working with technical products, vendors, and families of technologies.
β’ Experience working with product configurations.
β’ Experience working with relevant software packages or classes of packages, and products within area of technical expertise.
Other Qualifications
β’ Good in technical design skills
β’ Good communication skills to communicate with customers, support personnel, and management.
β’ Good analytical and problem-solving skills
β’ Good organization skills to balance and prioritize work.
β’ Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and switch between tasks quickly.
β’ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

β’ Soft skills- need someone that isnβt looking for a short-term assignment and is committed to learning Medicaid Claims over several years.
β’ Looking for an individual that is self-motivated and a quick learner.
β’ Will need to be available to work overtime as needed to complete a critical project or support a production issue.
β’ Will also need to be available for an on-call rotation with other developers to support any production issues.
β’ They are not expected to be on call every day.
