Senior Azure Cloud Application/Database Developer

We are looking for an experienced Azure cloud software/database developer to join a team that is developing a SaaS application for the healthcare industry. This is a full-time contract position on a multi-year project. The initial term is 6-month, extendable to the duration of the project should you complete your initial work satisfactorily. The company is located in North of Boston. You will telecommute from your home office. However, you must be physically located in the Greater Boston area. Requirements--------------- You must have 7+ years experience developing commercial software applications and have worked as a full stack developer. We expect you to have deep experience in the following areas: - developing clould applications usinig Azure services and technologies- DevOps, Azure Portal, Powershell- C#, .Net and related Microsoft technologies- SQL, SQL Server and Entity Framework- excellent knowledge of logic and physical data modelling and database tuning- experience with data warehouse a plus- agile development practices, CI/CD, Git In addition: - BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent field- Strong OO and modern software design skills- Strong oral and written communications skills- Strong analytical and problem solving skills Job Type: Contract Pay: $80.00 - $100.00 per hour Work Location: Remote
