Senior Azure Data Engineer

Job Title: Senior Azure Data Engineer Location: MA (Onsite) Duration: Long-Term Contract Core Responsibilities • Design, develop, and support enterprise-grade data integration and transformation solutions. • Create efficient ETL/ELT pipelines using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse Analytics. • Build scalable data processing frameworks utilizing Python, SQL, and Apache Spark. • Develop modern cloud data platforms leveraging Lakehouse and Medallion architecture principles. • Integrate data from APIs, cloud applications, databases, and hybrid environments. • Improve query performance and optimize storage using Delta Lake, partitioning strategies, and indexing techniques. • Monitor data pipelines to ensure availability, reliability, and data quality through automated alerts and validation. • Partner with business analysts, architects, and development teams to deliver scalable and reliable data solutions. • Provide technical guidance to junior engineers while promoting engineering standards and best practices. • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Required Skills & Experience • Strong years of professional experience in Data Engineering, Data Platform Engineering, • Good years of hands-on experience designing Azure-based enterprise data solutions. • Strong expertise with Microsoft Fabric. • Hands-on experience with multiple Azure technologies, including: • Azure Data Factory • Azure Synapse Analytics • Azure Databricks • Azure SQL Database • Power BI
