Senior Azure Developer

Responsibilities Kforce has a client in Richmond, VA that is seeking a Senior Azure Developer. Responsibilities: • Senior Azure Developer will build, deploy, and configure Azure infrastructure, including but not limited to Azure Data Factory, storage, key vaults, virtual networking, virtual machines, and automated deployments • Automate infrastructure deployment through Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines • Evaluate and automate the scaling and capacity requirements within Azure environment • Implement, setup, configure, monitor, and maintain cloud-based Data & Analytics platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake; Troubleshoot and resolve environment performance issues, connectivity issues, security issues • Make recommendations and execute cost saving strategies for Cloud services • Self-directed and able to balance the priorities of multiple teams, systems, and products with a leadership mindset • As a Senior Azure Developer, you will work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals • Streamline development and operation processes via continuous integration, deployment, automated testing while leveraging SRE principles • Drive efficient resolution for system outages as well as performance and functional shortcomings; Engage in critical support situations and effectively, efficiently, and quickly drive successful resolution • Design and implement solutions that leverage cloud services such as serverless computing, containers, and data lakes Requirements • 7+ years of Cloud Platform Engineering experience in an enterprise-level environment • 7+ years of DevOps experience with a clear understanding of related tools, structure, and processes working in an Agile/Scrum setting • 5+ years leading the end-to-end design and development of scalable services to be consumed by the enterprise, including monitoring and production support • Advanced proficiency with Python, SQL, GitHub, Azure DevOps, Bicep/Terraform, PowerShell is required; Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, and configuration management automation tools is required • Excellent communication skills, adapting to various audience types The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
