Job Title: Senior Azure DevOps Engineer Location: New York, NY Work Arrangement: Hybrid NY/NJ/CT Locals Preferred • • • • Summary Experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with over 7 years of expertise in designing, automating, and optimizing mission-critical deployments in Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud environments. Proven ability to modernize DevOps pipelines, support enterprise-scale cloud migrations, and implement secure, scalable infrastructure solutions. Server & Cloud Experience • Proficient in Microsoft Azure Cloud Services, including Azure Web Apps, Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Service Bus, and Microsoft Entra ID for identity and access management. • Experience with Windows Server administration, including IIS installation, configuration, and migration to Azure. • Strong understanding of networking concepts, including VPNs, Private Endpoints, and Virtual Networks. DevOps & Automation Experience • Expertise in Azure DevOps, including Git Repos, Boards, Pipelines, and CI/CD workflows. • Experience with CD/CD tools such as Octopus Deploy, TeamCity, Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions and Jenkins. • Developed and maintained PowerShell and Azure CLI scripts for automation and deployment. Database & Application Support • Experience with SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, SQL Managed Instance and general database administration. • Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL queries for application support and reporting. • Supported application changes and Change Management processes in production environments.
