Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities Kforce has a client in Charlotte, NC that is seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on networking to join their dynamic team. Summary: This role involves designing and maintaining Azure networking components, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and automating infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC). You'll ensure the reliability and scalability of Kubernetes clusters across multiple data centers and collaborate with cloud architects, DevOps, and security teams to support application and infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities: • Senior Azure DevOps Engineer will design, configure, and maintain Azure networking components: vNets, VPN Gateways, Load Balancers, NSGs, Azure Firewall • Build and manage reproducible, version-controlled infrastructure using Terraform • Troubleshoot and optimize network performance and reliability • Collaborate with cloud architects, DevOps, and security teams • Configure and manage load balancers, application gateways, and traffic managers • Implement private endpoints and service endpoints for secure Azure access • Manage Azure services: Storage Accounts, Azure SQL, Key Vault, AKS, Azure Cache, App Gateway, DNS, Blob Storage • Automate infrastructure deployments using Terraform • As a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer, you will deploy and manage CI/CD workflows using ArgoCD and optionally GitHub Actions • Administer Azure App Configuration and Key Vault for secure secret management • Implement RBAC and network-level policies, including WAF protections and secure ingress strategies • Support platform scalability and availability using Azure Functions, API Gateway patterns, and more Requirements • Proven experience with Microsoft Azure networking services • Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and IaC best practices • Experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Panorama • Experience with Cloudflare DNS and Terraform scripting • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines • Expertise with F5 Load Balancers • Background in complex firewall migrations and security policy design • Strong Layer 2/3 networking knowledge: VLANs, OSPF, BGP, NAT, VPNs, high availability • Proficiency in routing, subnetting, DNS, VPNs, and firewalls • Azure certifications such as AZ-700 or AZ-104 preferred • Familiarity with other IaC tools (e.g., ARM, Bicep) is a plus The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range.
