Location: Charlotte, NC – Hybrid Roles
Duration: 12-24+ Month (s) Extend or Convert based on performances
Job Details:
Required Qualifications:
• We’re looking for a Data Engineering Contractor with strong technical skills and a programmer’s mindset to support both legacy systems and an upcoming data lake initiative.
• This is a high-impact role that requires quick onboarding, technical depth, and strong communication skills. Please prioritize candidates with relevant experience and strong problem-solving capabilities.
Key Technical Requirements:
Legacy Pipeline (Immediate ramp-up):
• SQL, Liquibase, SSIS, TFS, AutoSys
New Data Lake Pipeline (Upcoming project):
• Hive, Dremio, Python, PySpark, Airflow, Data Lake Architecture
Ideal Candidate Should Have:
• Strong hands-on experience in some or most of the above technologies
• Excellent documentation skills
• Ability to read and understand compiled codebases (Java, C#); ability to write in these languages is a plus
• A programmer’s mindset to solve complex data and integration challenges
