Senior BMC Helix Developer (Hybrid)

Job Summary We are seeking a high-level, hands-on Custom Software Engineer to join our Communications, Media & Technology (CM&T) team. This role is focused on driving an enterprise-level migration of vital IT Service Management applications over to the modern cloud-based Innovation Studio platform. You will provide critical technical direction while ensuring our live applications transfer smoothly without loss of day-to-day utility. location: Atlanta, Georgia job type: Contract salary: $62.99 - 72.99 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors Responsibilities • Design, build, customize, and maintain core ITSM modules (Incident, Change, Problem, and Service Request) using the BMC Helix platform. • Author complex workflows, approvals, notifications, and escalations using Developer Studio, Innovation Studio, and Digital Workplace. • Engineer integrations with external enterprise applications like JIRA using REST/SOAP APIs and data pipelines. • Oversee data modeling within the CMDB and build rich, data-driven operational KPIs using Helix Dashboards. Qualifications 10+ years of deep, hands-on application development experience utilizing BMC Helix ITSM, Innovation Suite, or BMC Remedy. Proven background executing end-to-end platform migrations to modern, cloud-based configurations. Extensive experience writing custom workflows (Active Links, Filters, Escalations) and managing REST/SOAP API integrations. Must be local to Atlanta, GA and available to work on a hybrid model (2-4 days a week in office). Preferred Qualifications Prior experience working within the Communications, Media, or Technology (CMT) space. Deep knowledge of ITIL service management frameworks and compliance data structures. Strong troubleshooting proficiency paired with technical leadership capabilities.
