Position Overview • Approximate Duration: October 27 - December 19, 2025 • Location: Hybrid in San Diego, California OR Remote from United States • Compensation: The expected compensation starts at $46.00/hr W2 plus benefits. The offered compensation to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include (but are not limited to) the type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc. Must Have Technical Skills • Accurate and reliable data analysis • API Automation • BI Development; BI Platforms • Experience with handling complex datasets and data transformations using platforms such as JMP, R, Python, etc. • JAMA, Jama Connect • JQL (Jira Query Language) • Quality Metrics • Security Metrics • Tableau Nice To Have • Cloud Data Architecture • Data Modeling Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and deploy an innovative KPI dashboard using Tableau or comparable business intelligence tools (Power BI, Looker) • Create and optimize SQL queries to extract, clean, and aggregate data from diverse internal systems and databases • Leverage JQL (Jira Query Language) to seamlessly extract and integrate relevant project data • Implement Python scripts and APIs to pull structured data from requirements management systems for comprehensive reporting • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders across Product, Quality, Security, and Operations to identify and define impactful key metrics • Ensure exceptional data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all data sources • Deliver a scalable, maintainable dashboard featuring compelling visual storytelling for both executive and operational audiences Required Qualifications • 3+ years of proven experience as a BI Analyst, Data Analyst, or BI Developer • Expert proficiency in SQL, Tableau (or other BI platforms), JQL (Jira), and Python for data integration • Demonstrated experience working with data from multiple systems and formats (relational databases, APIs, spreadsheets) • Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and proven ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions • Outstanding communication and documentation skills Preferred Qualifications • Experience with data modeling and ETL/ELT processes • Familiarity with cloud data environments such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or AWS Redshift • Background in reporting for product, security, or quality metrics is highly valued Apply today!
