Position Summary
The Client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Business Domain Data Modeler to join our Data Warehouse and Analytics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining data models, enhancing data quality, supporting healthcare data systems (Medicaid and SHBP), and working collaboratively with technical and business teams. This role requires strong experience in data modeling, cloud platforms, and data warehouse architecture.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
Enhance existing data models to ensure scalability, accuracy, and efficiency.
Conduct data reconciliation and validation across various data sources.
Implement and validate complex business rules using tools such as Validatar.
Ensure alignment of data logic with business requirements and organizational policies.
Support and maintain the EASE Data Warehouse Solution, enhancing its capabilities and performance.
Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analytics Manager, and business users to develop Information Marts for analytics and reporting.
Create documentation, user training materials, and assist in onboarding new users.
Provide operational support for Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau.
Work in an agile, collaborative environment using Jira, Confluence, and other productivity tools.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelorβs Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
At least 5 years of experience in Data Warehouse Modeling and Development.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on SQL and stored procedure development experience.
2+ years of experience with WhereScape RED and 3D.
1+ year of experience working with Snowflake.
1+ year of experience with AWS Cloud architecture.
Strong knowledge of data modeling best practices and data management principles.
High attention to detail, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong time management skills and ability to collaborate in a hybrid work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in:
Data quality improvement and reconciliation efforts
Building and optimizing Information Marts for business users
Using Validatar, Tableau, Jira, Confluence, BOX, and AWS
Prior experience in healthcare domain, especially Medicaid and SHBP systems.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
High degree of personal and professional integrity.
Ability to drive results and influence stakeholders at all levels.
