Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst
Location: Nashville, TN (Green Hills/Burton Hills) β 4 days per week onsite
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire
Target Start Date: February 23rd
Compensation: 65/hr
About The Role
We are seeking a Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst who is passionate about using data to drive meaningful impact. In this role, you will partner directly with business leaders, clinicians, and operational teams to translate data into actionable insights that support clinical, operational, and financial performance.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants the opportunity to shape the BI function as the organization grows.
What Youβll Do
β’ Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities where data can inform strategic decisions.
β’ Translate business challenges into analytical questions and deliver clear, actionable insights.
β’ Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics that measure performance across the organization.
β’ Present findings to non-technical stakeholders, including clinicians and executives, in clear and compelling ways.
β’ Support month-end financial reporting using data from Athena.
β’ Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries to support data extraction and analysis.
β’ Work closely with the Data Integration team to ensure data quality and consistency.
β’ Validate data using QA processes, reconciliation, and other standard data integrity checks.
β’ Stay current on trends in healthcare analytics, BI tools, and data technologies.
Required Qualifications
What Weβre Looking For
β’ Bachelorβs or masterβs degree in Business, Data Analytics, Data Science, Healthcare Informatics, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
β’ 3+ years of experience in BI, data analytics, or financial analysis.
β’ Strong SQL experience.
β’ Proficiency with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
β’ Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
β’ Excellent communication skillsβability to simplify complex data for non-technical audiences.
β’ Experience collaborating across multiple teams and managing several concurrent projects.
β’ Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
β’ Healthcare industry experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Experience with cloud-based platforms such as Azure Synapse, Snowflake, or Databricks.
β’ Familiarity with HL7, FHIR, ICD-10, CPT, or other healthcare data standards.
β’ Experience using Python or R for analytics or predictive modeling.
β’ Understanding of healthcare workflows and clinical terminology.
β’ Relevant analytics or healthcare informatics certifications.
