Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst Type: Long-term Contract Location: Fort Worth, TX Work Setting: Onsite We are seeking a Senior BI Analyst to lead the development of advanced data models, datasets, and dashboards while mentoring junior team members and driving best practices in data management. This position will collaborate across teams to build a data-driven culture using metrics, KPIs, and strategic analysis of business performance and trends. What You’ll Do: • Design, develop, and optimize complex data models, datasets, and interactive dashboards (Tableau experience preferred). • Perform in-depth analysis of large datasets to uncover trends, opportunities, and actionable insights. • Present key findings to senior leadership in a clear and impactful way. • Write and optimize advanced SQL queries, with hands-on experience using Snowflake (or similar cloud data warehouses). • Oversee data pipelines to ensure accuracy, quality, and efficiency. • Act as a trusted advisor to executives with data-driven insights and recommendations. • Mentor junior BI team members and champion knowledge sharing. What We’re Looking For: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field. • 5+ years of experience as a BI Analyst (or similar position) working with large, complex datasets. • Advanced proficiency in SQL, Tableau, and cloud data warehousing (Snowflake strongly preferred). • Strong communication skills, including the ability to translate technical insights for executives. • Exceptional problem-solving ability and attention to detail. Preferred: • Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, or related field. • Experience in a data-driven or highly regulated industry (insurance a plus). • Proficiency with Python or R. • Expertise in dashboard design and data storytelling.
