Senior Business Intelligence Consultant

We are seeking a highly experienced Business Intelligence Consultant to help modernize and streamline our client’s BI environment. This role requires someone who can analyze existing SAS-based reporting, design a proof of concept for Power BI, and provide hands-on development of modern dashboards and reports. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on developer who can help guide the current phase of BI rationalization and then extend into full-scale development in the next phase of the project. Key Responsibilities • Assess and analyze the client’s current BI environment, including SAS-based reporting • Review, evaluate, and disposition existing SAS reports • Design and deliver a proof of concept (POC) for migrating SAS reports into Power BI • Provide hands-on development of scalable, user-friendly Power BI dashboards and reports • Advise on rationalizing and streamlining the BI ecosystem to improve usability, performance, and governance • Partner with stakeholders to ensure solutions align with business needs and objectives Qualifications • 8–10 years of experience in business intelligence and data visualization • 5+ years of experience leading BI architecture and modernization projects • Strong ability to read and interpret SAS code • 3–5 years of hands-on development experience in Power BI • Demonstrated success in assessing, streamlining, and modernizing BI/reporting environments • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Why Join Us • Opportunity to lead a critical BI modernization project with immediate impact • Blend of strategic design and hands-on technical development work • Collaborative team environment with strong executive visibility
