Senior Business Intelligence Developer

Job Title: Business Intelligence (BI) Developer Location: Remote Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused BI Developer to serve as a liaison between business units and technical teams. This role will support customers by gathering requirements, coordinating projects, developing proof-of-concept solutions, testing, training, documenting, and delivering new or enhanced BI solutions. The ideal candidate will ensure all deliverables are supported by robust change management practices and aligned with business process improvement goals. Key Responsibilities • Act as a customer liaison to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements. • Coordinate BI-related projects and support solution delivery. • Develop and test proof-of-concept dashboards and reports. • Train end-users and document BI solutions and workflows. • Extend existing BI solutions or deliver new ones created by BI developers. • Ensure change management support is in place for all customer-facing solutions. • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve business processes using data analytics best practices. Required Qualifications • Minimum 2 years of experience developing custom reports and dashboards for executive or unit-level audiences. • Demonstrated experience in: • Data Analysis and Visualization • Requirements Gathering • Maintenance and Support • Collaboration and Customer Service • Familiarity with multiple end-user analytics platforms such as Tableau and Power BI. • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
