Role description
Title: Senior Business Intelligence Developer
Pay Range: $50 - $60 per hour on W2
Location: Remote (must be based in Las Vegas, NV)
Contract Duration: 6 months
Core Technical Competencies: Power BI, Tableau, Python, SQL
Key Responsibilities:
Data Modeling & Query Development (approx. 30%)
• Translate operational and business rules into analytical datasets provided by data engineering teams
• Design, refine, and tune complex database queries for performance and accuracy
• Perform data transformation using Python and manage pipelines within Databricks
Analytics & Visualization (approx. 30%)
• Create, enhance, and maintain interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI and Tableau
• Assist with transitioning analytics assets across different systems or platforms
• Leverage visual analytics to confirm insights and inform strategic decision-making
Databricks Application Enablement (approx. 30%)
• Contribute to the build, upkeep, and enhancement of self-service tools hosted on Databricks
• Develop simple, reusable Python-based tools to support data access and analysis
