• Job Responsibilities
• • Lead development, optimization, and lifecycle management of semantic models within Microsoft Fabric.
• • Design and build scalable, enterprise-level analytical solutions using Power BI and Denodo as core data integration platforms.
• • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into robust semantic models, and ensure business-friendly terminology and metrics.
• • Integrate disparate data sources (including virtualized data via Denodo and data lakes/warehouses in Fabric) using best practices in data modeling, DAX, and SQL.
• • Develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI reports, dashboards, and complex DAX calculations to drive data-based decision-making.
• • Implement row-level and object-level security in Power BI semantic models for robust enterprise data governance.
• • Manage lifecycle of Fabric semantic models – including versioning, upgrades, and migrations as Microsoft evolves the semantic model framework.
• • Guide enterprise reporting architecture, mentor junior BI developers, and champion the adoption of advanced analytics technologies across data-driven initiatives.

• Required Skills and Experience
• 10–12 years of hands-on experience in enterprise BI/reporting environments.
• Proven expertise in Power BI development, advanced DAX, Power Query, and semantic modeling.
• Extensive experience integrating and virtualizing data sources using the Denodo platform, including creation of logical and physical data layers.
• Deep understanding of the Microsoft Fabric analytics environment with experience in developing and optimizing semantic models, star schema design, and performance tuning.
• Strong proficiency in SQL across Power BI, Denodo, and Fabric contexts.
• Demonstrated ability to design secure, scalable BI solutions for large and complex datasets (financial or operational domains preferred).
• Familiarity with application lifecycle management (ALM) and CI/CD for Power BI assets.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience using Python for BI or data engineering tasks.
• Exposure to tools such as Amazon Redshift, Spotfire, or other advanced visualization platforms.
• Certifications: Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer or equivalent
