Role description
About the Role DLCP is seeking a Senior Business Process Consultant to support business reporting and data needs (performance/KPI reporting, cost improvements, business process analysis) while developing scalable solutions for the future. The ideal candidate will be customer-centric, with both strong business sense and technical knowledge, and will play a key role in transforming DLCP into a data-driven organization. A successful consultant will think deeply about data, deliver operational and strategic results, and recommend clear, actionable improvements to support growth, reduce costs, and improve efficiency. Key Responsibilities Partner with program teams to align business goals with system functionalities. Gather and document technical/functional requirements to meet DLCPโ€™s goals. Analyze and improve existing processes to drive efficiency and reduce risk. Create detailed process documentation, workflow charts, and business process maps. Work with IT/Data teams to visualize DLCPโ€™s business architecture. Conduct data analysis using Tableau, SQL, and Excel to support decision-making. Support user acceptance testing and process validation. Assist in developing customer outreach programs to improve engagement. Provide consultation on application analysis, troubleshooting, and solutions. Basic Qualifications Education: Bachelorโ€™s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field. Experience: 3+ years as a Business Analyst/Data Analyst (government or regulatory environment preferred). Technical Skills: Advanced Excel (VBA, pivot tables, arrays, Power Pivot). Proficiency in SQL and process mapping tools (Visio, Miro, Draw.io). Experience with Tableau or similar visualization tools (Seaborn, etc.). Programming/automated testing tools a plus. Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
