Role description
Sr. Analyst, Global Data Governance Location: Remote Contract Duration: Through June 2027 (W2, Weekly Pay, Benefits) Travel: Minimal (less than 10%) Compensation: $65-70/hr. Calculated Hire is unable to provide sponsorship for work visas (including H-1B, TN, etc.) for this position at this time. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future sponsorship. We are currently recruiting for a Senior Analyst, Global Data Governance, to support enterprise-wide data migration, data cleansing, and governance initiatives tied to a large-scale systems transformation within a global MedTech organization. This role is highly execution-focused and requires hands-on experience with Supply Chain Master Data — particularly Material Master — working at least six months ahead of deployments to ensure data readiness and quality. The Senior Analyst will partner closely with business stakeholders, system integrators, and internal teams to clean, govern, and configure data within SAP and related platforms. Key Responsibilities • Execute data migration and data cleansing activities across Supply Chain master data domains • Support Global Data Governance processes, standards, and controls • Perform hands-on configuration work within SAP and related systems • Identify data quality issues and lead remediation efforts before deployment • Oversee multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure proper and timely communications and updates • Participate in design and planning sessions to ensure data alignment with future-state processes • Partner with internal teams and vendors to support system readiness and cutover activities • Ensure alignment of project initiatives with the global template and PMO standards • Document data definitions, business rules, and governance standards as needed Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • 5+ years of experience in data governance, data migration, or master data management • Strong Supply Chain domain knowledge, with emphasis on Material Master data • Hands-on experience working in SAP/ERP environments • Experience in Finance Master Data • Proven ability to support data cleansing and migration efforts in large, complex organizations • High-level proficiency in Excel • Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills • Comfortable working in fast-moving environments with limited documentation Preferred Qualifications: • Experience supporting enterprise system implementations or carve-outs • Deployment, solutions, or change management experience • Familiarity with Jira or similar work management/test management tools • Experience working alongside large consulting partners • Familiarity with general finance principles and processes
