Project overview
Project Amber focuses on improving AI performance on complex, real-world spreadsheet workflows.
You will help design and evaluate Excel tasks that test:
• Formula accuracy and logic
• Cross-sheet references and dependencies
• Data integrity and structure
• Common spreadsheet failure points
Scope of Work
• Design complex Excel-based tasks (multi-step workflows)
• Create structured datasets with formulas and edge cases
• Evaluate AI-generated outputs for correctness and consistency
• Identify issues such as broken formulas, incorrect references, or formatting loss
Who are we looking for?
Professionals with strong hands-on experience in:
• Data Analysis / MIS / Reporting
• Finance / Accounting / FP&A
• Operations / Consulting
Minimum requirements
• Superior Excel proficiency
• Experience with complex formulas and large datasets
• Ability to work with multi-step spreadsheet workflows
• VBA / Macros or Power Query
• Experience building dashboards, models, or automated reports
Timeline and Commitment
• Flexible, remote, async work
• ~10+ hours/week
• Ongoing project with long-term potential
Accepted contributors will:
• Receive onboarding instructions after acceptance
• Participate in periodic task submissions based on project needs
• All submissions are reviewed for quality before moving contributors into the main expert pool.
Compensation
You will be compensated $75/hour for approved submissions. Additionally, there is a bonus of $200 after first 2 approved submissions.
