Start: ASAP
Pay Rate: $55.00–$60.00 / Hour (USD)
Shift / Schedule: 40 hours per week

About the Role
Line of Business: Financial Crime / AML – Payments & Wires Analytics
What the LOB Does: Supports AML monitoring and compliance for payments data (wires and SWIFT) by developing, validating, and reconciling rule-based reporting. The team ensures migrated rules accurately replicate legacy system outputs, documents discrepancies, and supports regulatory and compliance objectives.
Why the Role is Open:
• Migrating ~30 AML rules/reports from a legacy platform to SAS Viya
• Running parallel comparisons between old and new systems
• Reconciling results at record level
• Identifying and documenting discrepancies (e.g., data availability, date logic changes)
• Refining SAS Viya logic to align as closely as possible with legacy outputs
• Producing final, well-documented reconciliation artifacts
This is not a coding-heavy role. Code largely exists; the focus is on analysis, validation, and explanation of results.
Project Description: Migrating rules from one system to another system, including validation, reconciliation, and documentation of business logic.
Extension/Conversion Potential:
• Extension: Maybe (If project requires)
• Conversion to FTE: No

• Investigate discrepancies down to record-level detail
• Determine whether differences can be resolved or must be documented

• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate ambiguity into clear requirements
• Curious and inquisitive, with strong problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with a data quality and validation mindset
• Clear, concise communicator who can present technical findings in business-friendly language
• Stakeholder-focused and collaborative team player
• Organized, process-driven, and results-oriented
• Adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced, change-driven environment
