Senior Data Analyst

Role: Senior Data Analyst Location: Remote Candidates must be with 1 hour commute distance from San Francisco CA / Chicago IL / New York NY / Richmond VA / Kansas City MO / Cleveland OH / Charlotte NC / Dallas TX Type of Employment: Contract Duration: 12 months with possibility of extension Job Description: We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support enterprise data products and analytics initiatives within a cloud-based Data Lakehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Databricks, PySpark, Python, data modeling, and data quality frameworks, along with experience supporting complex data platforms. Required Skills: • 7+ years of Data Analysis and Data Modeling experience • Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, PySpark, Spark, and Python • Experience building data quality frameworks, dashboards, and automated data solutions • Experience with Databricks and Starburst/Tableau • Experience with Databricks and Collibra/Alteryx • Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and root-cause analysis skills • Experience working in Agile/SAFe environments using Jira • Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills Responsibilities: • Support and troubleshoot data, application, and production issues • Develop and maintain scalable data products and data quality solutions • Perform technical analysis, root cause investigation, and performance optimization • Coordinate with business and technical teams to deliver data-driven solutions • Support testing, implementation, release activities, and process improvements • Maintain project documentation and provide end-user support Preferred: CBAP, Agile Analysis Certification, Tableau, Starburst, Collibra, Alteryx, R, sparklyr.
