Skill Required with Amount of Experience:-
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to design, develop, and support data-driven solutions within a modern cloud-based data ecosystem. This role will focus on building and optimizing scalable, secure, and high-performing data pipelines while working across a lakehouse architecture. The ideal candidate will take a hands-on approach to analyzing complex data systems, troubleshooting issues, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions using tools such as Python, Spark, Databricks, Tableau, Starburst, Collibra, Alteryx, and R.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Act as the primary point of contact for technical support related to data, applications, and processing issues for end users
β’ Oversee and support application releases, including production monitoring and issue resolution for both technical and functional concerns
β’ Contribute to testing strategies by evaluating system performance, documenting findings, and coordinating remediation efforts
β’ Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation including project timelines, system scope, and functional requirements
β’ Identify opportunities to enhance processes and recommend improvements to leadership
β’ Facilitate effective communication between business stakeholders and development teams to ensure alignment
β’ Coordinate cross-functional activities such as development sessions, functional reviews, and technical discussions to ensure timely delivery
β’ Track and document user interactions and issues within logging systems for reporting and performance analysis
β’ Review and validate proposed technical solutions for system issues and provide recommendations to improve resolution strategies
Required Qualifications:
β’ At least 7 years of professional experience in a Data Analyst or similar role
β’ Strong background in data modeling and application analysis, with proven ability to diagnose complex issues and implement solutions
β’ Hands-on experience with Databricks and PySpark, particularly in building data quality frameworks and dashboards
β’ Proficiency in Spark and Python, including scripting, automation, debugging, and performance optimization
β’ Experience working with Databricks along with either Starburst or Tableau for data visualization and querying
β’ Experience working with Databricks along with either Collibra or Alteryx for data governance or analytics workflows
β’ Familiarity with Agile methodologies or SAFe framework, along with tools such as Jira
β’ Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and system design skills
Preferred Qualifications:
β’ Certifications such as CBAP, Agile Analysis Certification, or equivalent credentials
β’ Experience working in large-scale enterprise data environments
β’ Exposure to cloud-based data platforms and lakehouse architectures
