Senior Data Analyst – Celonis

Job Title: Senior Data Analyst – Celonis (Process Mining)Location: Hybrid – Local to Knoxville, TN or Atlanta, GAType: C2C / Full time Job Overview: We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst with hands-on expertise in Celonis to join our client's data analytics team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in leveraging Celonis' process mining capabilities to analyze business processes, uncover inefficiencies, and identify opportunities for automation through AI and data-driven insights. This is a highly visible role that requires experience with process mining, Celonis PQL (Process Query Language), and preferably Object-Centric Process Mining (OCPM). The candidate should be capable of delivering results quickly and independently. Key Responsibilities: Utilize Celonis to perform in-depth analysis of business processes by mining system event logs. Develop and optimize PQL queries to identify process bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and automation opportunities. Apply Object-Centric Process Mining techniques to uncover complex interactions across process entities. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their pain points and translate them into analytical insights. Present actionable insights and dashboards to stakeholders for process improvements. Partner with IT and data engineering teams to ensure data availability and model accuracy in Celonis. Continuously refine Celonis analyses as business processes evolve. Required Skills & Qualifications: 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, with at least 1–2 years of hands-on Celonis experience. Proficient in Celonis PQL and building meaningful analyses and dashboards. Experience with Object-Centric Process Mining (OCPM) is strongly preferred. Solid understanding of process mining concepts and system data flows. Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets. Familiarity with automation technologies or AI-driven workflows is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data findings into business terms. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
