Title: Senior Data Analyst Location: 11625 N Community House Rd Charlotte, NC Duration: 12 months Work Engagement: W2 Work Schedule: 3 days in office/2 days remote Benefits on offer for this contract position: Health Insurance, Life insurance, 401K and Voluntary Benefits Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to support a multi‑year risk data transformation program. This role will focus on rationalizing long‑standing data feeds, streamlining data processes, and supporting enterprise‑level efficiencies and future cost‑reduction initiatives. The ideal candidate has a strong background in investment banking or corporate banking, exceptional analytical abilities, and experience translating complex business needs into clear technical requirements. This individual will work closely with cross‑functional stakeholders, senior leaders, technology teams, and project managers to ensure accurate data analysis, clear communication, and timely delivery across the program. Responsibilities: Data Analysis & Requirements Gathering • Analyze complex datasets from legacy applications and rationalize feeds flowing into risk platforms. • Translate business requirements into detailed technical requirements for development teams. • Support data mapping, lineage, and documentation across multiple systems. • Utilize generative AI tools to accelerate data analysis, requirement drafting, and process updates. Project & Stakeholder Management • Support project management activities across a large‑scale, multi‑year transformation program. • Provide status updates, reporting, and dashboards to stakeholders, leadership, and program partners. • Coordinate with cross‑functional teams across business, technology, operations, and risk groups. • Manage issues, dependencies, and risks related to data integration and transformation. Process & Efficiency Improvements • Create process flow and data flow diagrams to support design decisions and program strategy. • Identify opportunities to streamline data pipelines, reduce operational complexity, and modernize legacy data processes. • Partner with technology teams to ensure alignment on future‑state design and integration standards. Qualifications: • Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. • Experience in data integration, business analysis, or data‑focused project support within financial services. • Strong background working in investment banking, corporate banking, or capital markets environments. • Experience supporting large‑scale, multi‑year data transformation or modernization initiatives. • Proven ability to work with complex, cross‑functional stakeholder groups, including senior leadership. • Expertise in creating process flow diagrams, data flow diagrams, and technical documentation. • Strong analytical ability, detail orientation, and organizational skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements. • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Agile project environments. • Hands‑on experience with data analytics or data visualization tools. • Familiarity with risk systems, financial products, and large enterprise data ecosystems. • Experience leveraging AI tools, prompts, and chatbots for analysis and documentation. • Prior work experience at a major investment bank or large financial institution (e.g., Wells Fargo, etc.)—this greatly accelerates onboarding due to familiarity with language and processes.
