Be Part Of A High-Performing Financial Services Team
This role supports a large, globally recognized financial services organization with a strong focus on data security, risk management, and regulatory compliance. The team is responsible for protecting sensitive enterprise data through proactive monitoring, analytics, and continuous improvement of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) controls. The environment is collaborative and detail-driven, partnering closely with data security leadership, technologists, and cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen enterprise-wide data protection strategies.

This is a contract opportunity supporting a critical data security program within a hybrid work environment. The role offers exposure to enterprise-scale DLP tools, executive-facing reporting, and hands-on involvement in security incident analysis and process improvement initiatives.
How You Will Make An Impact
• Monitor and analyze alerts generated by Data Loss Prevention technologies to identify potential data security incidents
• Perform initial triage, validation, and escalation of DLP events in accordance with internal processes
• Partner with senior DLP and data security leaders to support incident reviews and decision-making
• Provide actionable feedback to technologists on DLP policy tuning and rule effectiveness
• Draft and maintain DLP playbooks, job aids, and operational documentation
• Prepare DLP program metrics and dashboards for routine and ad hoc reporting
• Support data analysis requests from DLP leadership by synthesizing information from multiple data sources
Do you bring proven success in data security analytics and incident support?
• 10+ years of experience in data analysis, information security, or data protection roles
• Hands-on knowledge of Data Loss Prevention platforms such as Proofpoint, Microsoft Purview, and Island.io
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and advanced data analysis techniques
• Experience monitoring alerts, performing incident triage, and supporting escalation workflows
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and investigative skills
• Ability to synthesize data from multiple sources into clear, actionable insights
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with experience working across technical and non-technical teams
