Role Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Data Analyst / Data Modeler with a strong background in data analytics, data modelling, and business analysis within enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have expertise in financial services, digital transformation, and large-scale data-driven projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop logical and physical data models using tools like ERWIN, Visio, or similar
• Analyze large datasets to generate actionable insights and support strategic decision-making
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into data solutions
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI, QlikSense, or similar tools
• Define data flows, data mappings, and ensure data integrity across systems
• Support data migration and transformation initiatives for legacy to cloud platforms
• Work closely with engineering teams on API integrations and data pipelines
• Implement data governance, data quality, and compliance standards (e.g., regulatory reporting)
• Use SQL, Python, and BigQuery for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
• Drive continuous improvement in data processes and reporting capabilities
Required Skills & Experience
• 10+ years of IT experience with strong focus on data analytics and data modelling
• Proven experience in banking/financial services, telecom, or e-commerce domains
• Expertise in SQL (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server) and data querying
• Strong experience in data visualization tools (Power BI, QlikSense, QlikView)
• Hands-on experience with data modelling tools (ERWIN, UML, BPMN)
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or GCP
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and big data technologies
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (KYC, AML, Basel, MiFID II) is a plus
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence
Soft Skills
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Ability to work in cross-functional, global teams
• Proactive mindset with ownership and delivery focus
Nice to Have
• Certifications in Azure, Power BI, or Scrum
• Experience in API integrations and workflow automation
• Exposure to data science or predictive analytics
