This role sits within a global financial services organization known for its strong risk culture, regulatory rigor, and commitment to safeguarding sensitive enterprise data. The Enterprise Information Protection (EIP) team plays a critical role in strengthening the firm’s data security posture following enterprise-wide cyber health assessments. The team operates in a fast-moving, results-driven environment, partnering closely with application teams, security SMEs, and business users to reduce data exposure risk and improve governance controls across the organization.

This opportunity offers hands-on involvement in high-visibility data security remediation initiatives within a large, regulated enterprise environment. The role provides exposure to enterprise security tooling, cross-functional collaboration, and the chance to influence how data protection processes and metrics are built and scaled in ongoing operations. The position follows a hybrid work model based in Charlotte, North Carolina.
How You Will Make an Impact
• Analyze and validate enterprise data security findings identified through cyber health assessments
• Support remediation efforts using a data security posture management platform (Varonis)
• Partner with application owners and data stakeholders to drive remediation actions and policy adherence
• Develop and maintain metrics, dashboards, and reporting to track remediation progress and operational effectiveness
• Collaborate with Varonis Application, Rules & Content SMEs to tune policies and improve detection accuracy
• Contribute to the definition and stabilization of repeatable data protection operational processes
Are you an experienced data security-focused analyst ready to make an impact?
• 10+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Security Analyst, or Governance-focused analyst in enterprise environments
• Strong analytical skills with experience validating findings, tracking remediation, and interpreting data risk
• Hands-on experience with data security, data governance, or information protection initiatives
• Ability to work with security tools, dashboards, and reporting platforms; Varonis experience strongly preferred
• Proven ability to communicate clearly with technical teams and non-technical business users
• Experience working in fast-paced, results-driven environments with shifting priorities
• Background in financial services, banking, or other highly regulated industries preferred
