Overview Our client, a leading institution in the banking and financial services sector, is seeking an accomplished Senior Data Analyst with deep expertise in marketing data and analytics. The ideal candidate will bring 15+ years of experience in data analysis and data warehousing, including 5+ years supporting marketing data initiatives within a bank or large financial institution. This role requires advanced technical skills in SQL and PL/SQL, the ability to interpret complex business requirements, and translate them into data-driven insights and solutions that power marketing effectiveness, customer segmentation, campaign targeting, and strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities β€’ Lead the design, analysis, and delivery of complex datasets to support marketing campaigns, CRM initiatives, and digital analytics (Google Analytics, etc.). β€’ Translate business requirements into efficient SQL queries, PL/SQL scripts, and data models to deliver insights. β€’ Collaborate with marketing, product, analytics, and IT teams to understand data needs and optimize reporting. β€’ Analyze large-scale datasets from data warehouses and external platforms to derive customer and campaign insights. β€’ Perform data profiling, cleansing, validation, and mapping to ensure data quality and alignment with business goals. β€’ Support the governance and documentation of business processes and data dictionaries related to marketing analytics. β€’ Contribute to data integration and data flow design across internal systems and marketing tools. β€’ Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executive leadership. β€’ Lead or support multiple workstreams using Agile and Waterfall methodologies. β€’ Mentor junior analysts and contribute to best practices in data analysis and marketing data strategy. Qualifications β€’ 15+ years of total experience in Data Analysis, Data Warehousing, and Data Analytics. β€’ 5+ years of focused experience with marketing data within a bank or large-scale financial institution. β€’ Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, data modeling, data integration, and enterprise data warehouse (EDW) environments. β€’ Strong familiarity with CRM systems and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics). β€’ Deep understanding of data governance, data pipelines, and cross-functional data operations. β€’ Prior experience working in Agile environments with JIRA, Scrum teams, or similar frameworks. β€’ Demonstrated ability to lead data analysis projects independently from requirements to delivery. β€’ Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills; able to present complex findings clearly and persuasively. β€’ Experience with API integrations between data platforms and marketing tools. β€’ Knowledge of customer segmentation, attribution models, and campaign performance metrics. β€’ Background in financial services marketing, customer acquisition, or digital channel optimization. β€’ Proficiency with tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization platforms is a plus.
