Senior Data Analyst – Google Looker Implementation

Remote W2 only Job Title: Senior Data Analyst – Google Looker Implementation (3 Openings) Location: Remote/ No Travel Length- On year to start with opportunity to extend Overview Seeking three Senior Data Analysts to lead the implementation, development, and enablement of Google Looker across enterprise data environments. This role blends hands-on LookML development, platform architecture, user training, and strategic rollout. Required Qualifications • Looker Development Expertise: • Strong experience with LookML, including model/view architecture, explores, and dashboard optimization • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable LookML and SQL • Advanced SQL and LookML pattern implementation for complex use cases • Quality assurance planning and execution • Platform Architecture & Setup: • Experience designing secure Looker environments, including user roles, content permissions, and row/column-level security (PII) • Skilled in managing projects, models, views, and code repositories • Familiarity with platform settings and labs configuration to support use cases • Enablement & Training: • Ability to train and support developer teams with LookML best practices and advanced usage patterns • Experience enabling business user teams for adoption and self-service analytics • Skilled in usage analysis, administration, and security configuration • Rollout & Change Management: • Experience aligning rollout priorities with team and use case needs • Proven ability to establish a Looker Center of Excellence • Skilled in developing rollout strategies and change management processes to support migration from legacy tools • Collaboration & Communication: • Strong stakeholder engagement across engineering, analytics, and business teams Preferred Qualifications • Experience in healthcare environments • Familiarity with ETL tools and data pipelines • Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards • Experience with embedded analytics or Looker API integrations Key Responsibilities • Develop and optimize LookML models, explores, and dashboards • Architect secure and scalable Looker environments • Train and support developer and business user teams • Lead rollout strategy and change management • Ensure data accuracy, governance, and platform performance • Provide ongoing development and enablement support across technical and business teams
