Location: Chandler, Arizona
Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote

Overview
Our client, a leading global financial institution, is seeking a Data Analyst / Power BI Developer to support operational reporting, dashboard development, data analysis, and business intelligence initiatives. This role will focus on transforming complex operational data into actionable insights through advanced reporting, KPI tracking, forecasting, and visualization solutions.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, experience building executive-level dashboards, and the ability to communicate data-driven insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain complex Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Analyze operational and business data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers.
• Develop data models and reporting frameworks to support business and operational objectives.
• Create and maintain KPIs, scorecards, and forecasting models to support decision-making.
• Perform root cause analysis and provide actionable recommendations based on data findings.
• Extract, transform, and analyze data using SQL and reporting tools.
• Collaborate with business, operations, and technology teams to gather reporting requirements and deliver analytics solutions.
• Present insights through compelling visualizations and data storytelling techniques.
• Support process improvement initiatives through data-driven analysis and reporting.
• Leverage GenAI tools where appropriate to enhance reporting, automation, and analytical capabilities.
Required Qualifications
• 4+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Reporting, Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture, or related fields.
• Strong experience with Power BI dashboard development and data visualization.
• Experience performing data analysis, KPI reporting, and forecasting.
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Strong Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Experience developing and maintaining data models.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Power BI Developer experience.
• Experience with ServiceNow reporting and analytics.
• Knowledge of GenAI applications within reporting and analytics environments.
• Experience working in large enterprise or financial services environments.
• Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience communicating insights to executive and business stakeholders.
