Role description
We're hiring a Predictive Data Analyst to turn complex, multi-source data into decisions leaders can act on. You'll own predictive models end-to-end, build the Tableau dashboards executives rely on, and serve as the go-to expert for cross-agency justice-involved and managed care plan reporting. What you'll do • Build predictive models start to finish EDA, feature engineering, validation, deployment, monitoring • Write complex SQL to pull, merge, and validate data across multiple systems • Design and maintain Tableau dashboards and API-based reporting • Run data quality QA and document business rules so reporting stays consistent • Partner with program staff to translate business questions into analytics, and technical findings into plain language • Work in Agile/Scrum standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews What you need • 4+ years planning, designing, conducting, and evaluating research or analytics projects • Machine learning and predictive analytics applied hands-on • Strong SQL and relational database experience • Tableau (or similar BI) dashboard development • Experimental / quasi-experimental research design on complex datasets • Bachelor's in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Psychology, Public Health, or related applied research field (min. 12 semester / 18 quarter units in data science, predictive analytics, quantitative methods, or statistics)
