Senior Data Analyst

Now Hiring: Data Analyst – Asset Management Data (Hybrid | Contract | Chicago, IL) Our direct client, is looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join their Data & Analytics team. This is a hybrid contract opportunity (3 days/week onsite in Chicago) focused on building data-driven solutions across multiple asset classes and integrating new data sources to enhance decision-making. If you have a strong background in asset management data, hands-on SQL expertise, and experience working with tools like Bloomberg, Aladdin, or FactSet, this could be an excellent fit. What You’ll Do: • Analyze and interpret complex data sets supporting a broad range of asset classes. • Develop and maintain data mapping and validation documentation. • Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to define data analysis requirements and deliver actionable insights. • Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across reporting and analytics systems. • Contribute to data solution design and the development of new pipelines and transformations. • Write user stories and acceptance criteria in an agile development environment. • Support testing strategies and participate in QA efforts for new data releases. What We’re Looking For: • 7+ years of experience as a Data Analyst within asset management. • Solid understanding of data across multiple asset classes; distribution data experience a plus. • Strong SQL skills and familiarity with data pipelines and transformations. • Experience with Aladdin, Bloomberg, FactSet, or similar data platforms. • Strong communicator with proven stakeholder management skills. • Experience working in Agile teams and writing user stories.
